Grant Imahara, ingeniero eléctrico y de robótica, fue presentador de MythBuster en Discovery Channel y también participó en White Rabbit Project de Netflix, fallece a los 49 años de edad.
Inició su carrera en Lucasfilm, primero en THX Labs y después en Industrial Light and Magic. Se unió al equipo de Mythbusters en la tercera temporada, reemplazando a Scottie Chapman y abandonó el programa en 2014 junto a Kari Byron y Tory Belleci, después de aparecer en 200 episodios.
Los tres se reunieron años dos años más tarde en 2016 cuando participaron en White Rabbit Project. En 2018 participó también e Home of the Future, una serie web de The Verge y Curbed.
Grant Imahara murió de un aneurisma cerebral, según The Hollywood Reporter, quienes publican un comunicado oficial de Discovery: «Fue una persona maravillosa y parte importante de la familia».
